We are being sent from Bethel (in Redding California) to Bethel Cleveland, where Jake will be overseeing BSSM Cleveland and helping to pastor in the local church.
This has been a very quick process but one in which the lord has been very present. We are so excited about the opportunity in front of us and also feel extremely thankful for our time in Redding. We look forward to staying connected to this life changing place and these incredible people.
We have been blessed with a world class community here in Redding whom we have grown up with in a way. We have been so loved and supported here, pushed into our destiny and had our dreams fought for. So why would we want to leave? Well, we weren't looking to leave, the opportunity came to us, and we would only go if we really felt the Lord leading us there. He is the one we are living for. He is the one we are following. He is the one worth laying everything down for and saying a big YES to. He is the one who has built such strength around us in Redding, and he is the one who will do the same for us in Cleveland. He is the one who has done countless miracles of provision and healing in our lives, and he is the one who is faithful to meet every need in our future. Not only is he a God the meets our needs, but He is very interested in us thriving and us knowing intimately His goodness. So, in that I trust, that he has thought of everything, and it's a true honor to follow him wherever he leads.
This new place, Cleveland, has not been on our grid until the last couple of weeks, and honestly the more we find out the more we love. Here are a few things we are excited about.
East 4th Street downtown Cleveland: twinkle lights, and incredible restaurants. Soon to be a favorite date night spot!!
Ice skating at a local rink! I think I'm generally sold whenever I see twinkle lights.
FALL!!! Need I say more. (this shot was taken 10 mins from our house.)
Downtown Cleveland. Both Jake and I LOVE big cities!!
But we get to live in an amazing suburb 20 mins away, safe for the babes!
Look at the House Jesus picked out for us!
and the back yard...
The back yard empties into one of the most amazing park systems in America known as the Cleveland Metro Parks, or Emerald Necklace of Cleveland, here is a picture below of one of the trails from the 2300 acre nature reservation.
Want to move to Cleveland yet?
Honestly though, more than the fun attractions and adventures that this new city will bring us, there is the sweet and powerful workings of our God. He is definitely moving in this region and it is an incredible honor for us to partner with him to see Heaven come to Earth. He is excited to show His goodness at a deeper level to the people of Cleveland. He is bringing restoration, redemption, hope, courage, and joy, (all of which are a little messy at first but once walked through, there is life changing freedom on the other side) and we get the privilege of being there when its released and helping however we can.
We will depart from our beloved Redding on August 4th, and arrive in the new homeland of Beautiful Cleveland on August 8th or 9th. These next 3 weeks might be like a whirl wind, but we want to make the most of these last weeks here, hugging necks, and packing boxes, and making a (digital) scrapbook of the monumental places and people in Redding that have changed our life. Jake and I met here 9 years ago. We dated here and had all 3 of our babies here. We have made covenant friends here who we will champion each other for years to come. This is a massive chapter in our life. We are leaning into the father's grace to cover us these next few weeks of transition and can already feel his delight in the details.
You are invited and welcome to pray for us in this journey. A cross country trip with 3 little ones sounds like a chaotic undertaking, but as we were exploring all options (trains and airplanes) we felt like The Lord invited us to embrace the process. He encouraged us not to avoid the uncomfortableness, and not to worry about preventing challenges, but instead embrace it and be ok with taking it slow, making mistakes, communicating our needs, and loving each other even more so in our messy moments.
I am in awe all over again that God has given me this champion of a husband who is fighting to protect my heart and cherish me even in massive transition, and these beautiful 3 world changer children I have, who simply can't get enough of me. I am floored with thankfulness. Through this beautiful transition, I will remain In the hug of my Heavenly Father, it is my greatest joy and strength.

Love you and so excited for you!! Cleveland is amazing. It was where I first touched down in the USA 12 years ago and felt like I was home for the first time in my life. I pray you will feel home there the instant you arrive too! Sorry to miss you - I'll arrive in redding on the 9th. But I wish you well friend. Xx
